Day 13 and we’re almost to the Vic border, having been to all the active pools from Ballina to Eden. Today one was closed for cleaning and another was full of sand with just a small area of water.

Fairy Bower Day 8 and Melbourne weather: 32 yesterday, 22 today. Actually, Melbourne would have been 16. It’s high tide and the surf is washing over most of the pools. Not sure if that’s scary or exciting but we lean towards the latter. (Once a kid always a kid!).
