Monday was spent getting ready to go to the airport then flying to London .
On Tuesday we spent the afternoon recovering form a night with little sleep then went to Godalming, in Surrey, to visit our friends whose apartment we're staying in, in London.
Then on Wednesday we took a passenger ferry from Waterloo to Greenwich to see the sights of London from the water.

St Paul's Cathedral

Tower of London

Tower Bridge
Greenwich Observatory is set on a hill above a huge park and is located on the Prime Meridian, defined by the position of cross hair of the eyepiece of the “Transit Circle” telescope inside the Greenwich Observatory.
As you can imagine there were a number of interesting exhibits covering astronomy, space travel, time, etc.
The Greenwich hill also gives great views over London.
