Today we drove down the road a few kms to Land's End. It was blowing a gale (probably not really a gale but it felt like it!) Land's End consists of a few old houses with a tourist centre at the front, full of souvenirs and various forms of kitsch. The old houses and an inn on the cliff (First and Last Inn in England) were interesting though.
The cape is notoriously dangerous with something like 27 shipwrecks in the waters around it.

We then went  to St Ives. We didn't meet a man with 7 wives but there lots of people with children enjoying a summer break. There were also lots of art galleries and jewellery shops to keep one of us amused..
