Just to the North of Broken Hill is the Living Desert State Park. A number of years ago a group of Sculptors from various countries around the world were invited to come and create sculptures on the hill overlooking this State Park using sandstone from here and nearby quarries. Some are almost raw stone, others are carefully moulded in some detail.
