Today we went on an outing to Ba-na Hills, a multimillion dollar Theme Park on aMountain outside of Da Nang. It has one of the longest cable car rides in the world - 5.8km apparently. In fact there are four or five of them that take you from one part of the complex to another. Unfortunately apart from the scenery and the beautifully presented garden and grounds it was quite disappointing. It was like a Vietnamese Disneyland but without the rides. We ate in the French Village which had lots of buildings made to look like medieval structures but it was just too fake looking for us. There is an impressive bridge held up by huge hand which was worth seeing.
