Monday June 10

Queen's Birthday in Australia but we're driving form Ardmore to Waterford to visit the Crystal showroom. All too fancy for us.

So we head off for the Copper Coast - so named because of the copper mines that were once there. It's now a national park, known as the Geo-Coast.

To finish the day we visit Dungarvan, a lovely port town, then Youghal (pronounced Yawl), the one time home of Sir Walter Raleigh where we enjoy a quiet drink, including Chris' first taste of Guiness. He thought it was quite good! Then dinner in Ardmore where we discovered yet another ancient Cathedral ruins.
